Contractor Newsletter: July 2019

Thank you for a great program year!

Program year 10, which ran from June 1, 2018, to May 31, 2019, saved customers 180,000,000 kWh and paid over $12,000,000 in energy-saving rebates through the PPL Business Energy Efficiency Program. This is the equivalent of 27,025 passenger vehicles driven for one year or charging 16,230,683,412 smart phones! Your support of our program is a critical part of what makes it so successful. Thank you for your participation, and we encourage you to continue to take advantage of great energy savings.

Distributor Instant Discount Program/Midstream

Open distributor enrollment – If your lighting distributor is not registered for the Distributor Instant Discount Program, it’s not too late! The program is open for enrollment and any interested distributors should reach out to.Bud Fogleman. Once enrolled, distributors can give discounts directly at the point-of-sale.

Program requirements – When working with one of the program’s distributors, make sure to provide your customer’s PPL Electric Utilities account number. Products must be ENERGY STAR® or DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) qualified. Distributors have access to tools that can be used to verify that the products being installed are eligible.

Installation verification – After purchasing qualified products from a distributor, you and/or your customer may receive a request from either CLEAResult or a third party to conduct installation verification. Please make sure your customers are aware that they may be contacted for a simple on-site walk-through of the completed project.
