GNE waitlist update

The GNE waitlist is still in effect, but additional funding is available, and we’ve started processing projects in the order in which they were received. Please be on the lookout for emails from our account managers requesting information or documentation, and submit them to keep your projects in good order.

Business Energy Efficiency Program

New bronze, silver and gold badges are being sent to customers who’ve participated in the Excellence in Energy Efficiency Program. To provide customers with more opportunities to show off their badges, we are sending both electronic and physical badges.

Electronic badges will be sent the week of March 18 and physical badges (window clings) will be mailed at the beginning of April.

Please encourage your customers to show off their badge and to go for gold by doing more energy efficiency projects!

Direct Discount Program

Reminders:

• Assessment Tool – please make sure you’re using the most current version of the Assessment Tool. This can be found on the Resources for Direct Discount Contractors web page.
• If your scope of work has changed, please submit a revised Assessment Tool and revised initialed scope of work.
• A distributor invoice related to each project is required as part of your final documentation submission.
• Electronic signatures should not be used on the Contract Agreement or Printable Report.
• Full pre-approval is required prior to beginning construction. An on-site verification is NOT considered pre-approval. If pre-approval is not received, the project will be transferred to our Standard Program.
• Pre-approval can take up to 15 business days when submitted in good order. Projects that are not submitted in good order may be delayed.
• Pre-install and post-install photos are required for every project even if a verification has been completed. Photos should include: a) Front of business where measures are being installed; b) Photos of the fixture types being replaced; and c) A few wide shots of the areas being retrofit.

Contractor Training — The next Direct Discount contractor training will take place on March 20, 2019 at 9 a.m. EST.

Distributor Instant Discount Program/Midstream

Welcome James Fago! James Fago has assumed the role as program manager. James comes to the team with more than nine years of experience in Pennsylvania utility lighting programs and has worked with Program Partner Central (PPC) in several others. Bud Fogleman will remain your primary point of contact but expect to see and communicate with James as he comes on board.

PPL Account Number Required Contractors and customers should be prepared to provide their PPL account number to receive instant rebates.

Got an Upcoming Event? Notify Bud Fogleman if you have events scheduled such as counter days, contractor cookouts, etc., and our team will try to attend. The more notice, the more likely we can get it on our calendar.

Co-Branding Opportunities Please keep Bud Fogleman informed of any special promotions that you have planned. As always, co-branding opportunities are available, pending approval.

Distributor Training We are conducting monthly training webinars to assist you with the PPC Portal and other important topics. The next training session is March 27, 2019 at 10 a.m. EST.
