Funding energy efficiency projects
In addition to utilizing rebates from the PPL Business Energy Efficiency Program, you can alert customers of other financing options to help fund their energy efficiency projects. Visit our

Direct Discount Program
New assessment tool version available – please make sure you’re using the new version of the Assessment Tool – V4.4 – with an updated printable report. This version is needed for pre-approval.
Are you taking advantage of our increased custom-project incentives? – Custom projects including advanced lighting controls, compressed air, VFDs and more are eligible for rebates of $0.14/kwh, saved annually, covering up to 80 percent of the project cost. For more information,

Aggregators are not permitted to submit paperwork. All documents must be completed by the contractor.

Distributor Instant Discount Program/Midstream
Customer notifications - Please remember to advise customers that the discount applied to the retail price was sponsored by the PPL Business Energy Efficiency Program. This should be present on their invoice and/or bill. With this notification, it’s important that they are aware that either the program team or the program evaluators may contact them with questions or to set up an appointment to see where the products were installed.
Pre-approvals - Any projects that are greater than $1,800 in incentive funding must be pre-approved. When working with your distributor, make sure that all projects above this amount are submitted. If a project is not pre-approved, the program cannot assure that funds over $1,800 will be reimbursed.
No project is too small! - When purchasing low quantities for your business or customer, keep in mind that there is no minimum for the Distributor Instant Discount Program. As long as the product being purchased is listed with ENERGY STAR
® or DesignLights Consortium
® in one of the categories listed on the
program flyer, it is eligible—even one or two lamps or fixtures.
